Staffing Agency Communications
We’ve implemented Twilio to provide real-time SMS and MMS communications at a staffing agency we support. Scheduling agents are able to carry on conversations with their hires within their FileMaker database for rapid communication. The client has found this useful for confirming information, uploading documents while on-the-go, and alerts. Additionally, they’re able to send mass communications to their employees through group texts. Deadline reminders, urgent staffing needs, and general company updates are sent from their FileMaker database via Twilio.
Restaurant Notification System
A restaurant chain uses Twilio to manage and send notifications to patrons. When guests check-in at the host stand, they have the ability to select text notifications for when their table will be ready. We built a custom seating app for them and used Twilio to integrate the SMS communications into that database. Guests had the freedom to wait in the lobby, their vehicle, take a walk outside, or window shop at nearby establishments, or numerous other options while the restaurant didn’t have to be concerned about maintaining old-fashioned beeper systems with their many pitfalls.
