JOB SUMMARY

PK Information is hiring a brand consultant. You will work with executive leadership to craft and execute marketing campaigns reaching numerous audiences, including current clients, established leads, market leaders, and the FileMaker development community.

Additionally, you will be a brand and marketing consultant for clients, growing your relationship with them and personal knowledge base to be a marketing partner. This role reports to the CEO, but will also interact with developers, administrative staff, Claris partner managers, and contracted videographers.

The person who fills this position finds enjoyment and satisfaction from compelling story-telling to connect with various audiences. Furthermore, you will prioritize learning new marketing solutions and platforms to contribute towards company growth.

CONTENT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Copywriting: Will need to research and write copy for a variety of mediums such as web, email, and social media with a nuanced understanding of different audiences. Write, edit, and publish weekly blog posts.

  • Web design: Update existing and create new web pages primarily using the SquareSpace platform with occasional work in Wix. Periodically will create mockups for clients in Photoshop. Implement best practices for SEO.

  • Social media: Plan, develop, and execute original content for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.

  • Graphic design: Create supporting materials for company initiatives such as logos, digital ads, and illustrations.

  • Event planning: Book venues, arrange for craft services, advertise, create and present content, and attendee follow-up after execution.

  • Videos: Write scripts and storyboards that are communicated to contracted videographers. Schedule shoots, oversee production, then provide feedback and edits during the post-production process.

  • Claris coordination: Be the primary contact person between PK Information and Claris. Attend partner webinars, consistently update Claris’ partner portal with deal registry and advocacy activities, and be mindful of Claris’ marketing and organization direction when planning PK’s marketing initiatives.


EDUCATION

  • A high school diploma or GED required

  • BA/BS in marketing, communication, visual design, or related field preferred

  • SalesForce Marketing Cloud certification preferred


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Best practices for service-based B2B digital marketing

  • General principles of UI and UX design for web, mobile, and social media

  • Training or familiarity with Story Brand marketing methodologies

  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, and InDesign

  • Experience working with video personnel

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently

  • Effective communication and strong organizational skills

  • Eagerness to grow and expand your skillset

SCHEDULE

  • This is a full-time position based out of Saint Petersburg, Florida, and is not a remote role; Monday–Friday established office hours.

  • May need to periodically come in early or stay late for meetings, company events, and client deadlines.

  • Occasional travel on behalf of the company (1–3 times per year), but will be coordinated with your personal life and schedule when needed.
